Durham Tees Airshow 29th August from Just £5

This August Bank Holiday, a hoard of historic planes will take to the skies as the SkyLive Airshow returns to Durham Tees Valley Airport for the first time in 25 years.

In addition to a skydive record attempt, aerobatic displays will arrive via The Blades, a team of aircrafts which will manoeuvre, loop and hurtle through the skies during a 15-minute sequence. Meanwhile, the XH558 Vulcan Bomber will make one of its final UK appearances before it retires at the end of this year. As well as sky-high heroics, ground attractions will be aplenty, from an antique motor exhibition to military displays, live music, food stalls from all corners of the globe, and a fairground.

Sightseers can opt for a standard ticket, or can upgrade to VIP entry, which provides access to a family marquee complete with a four-course lunch, hot evening buffet, fast track entry, a play area for the under 5s, and live entertainment from both children’s entertainers and local music acts.

Alternatively, the VIP corporate marquee entry is exclusively for adults, and includes all the same perks as well as a Bucks Fizz drink upon arrival.
